  Stern's site covers their pinball and redemption games. It provides details of the company's history and has an extensive list of pinball links. There is also a comprehensive technical support section with ROMs, technical bulletins, game cards and manual sections available for download or on CD-ROM..

.Australia

Formerly the site of the manufacturers of Williams and Bally pinball machines, the site is now owned by Mr Pinball Australia. While still retaining all the old content, the revamped site contains a new discussion forum and details of the upcoming new games and parts.

 

GAME SUPPLIERS

  BMI sells a very wide range of new and pre-owned coin-op games, vending and gaming equipment for trade and home use and has an extensive showroom of over 175 machines at their South Florida location. They also rent games and supply them to corporate functions.

  Tom Manely's Flashback Classic Coin Ops is based in Navarre, south of Cleveland in Ohio from where he sells and repairs a wide range of coin operated games and amusement machines. The lavishly decorated premises are designed to provide customers with their very own flashback to a golden age of gaming fun.

  John's Jukes of Vancouver sells a good cross-section of home gameroom machines including jukeboxes, video games, pachinko and of course pinball. The website carries a number of pinball tips and troubleshooting guides along with for sale and wanted lists.

  Missouri Pinball not only sells and repairs games, but also provides some
good solid information for new pinball owners. Greg Peck's site also
features a growing number of game pages for detailed descriptions, pictures
and links.

  Established in 1988, Pinball Express are based in the South East of England. You can often find their games on site around Brighton. They sell and service pinball games and other amusements.

  Pinball Heaven are primarily a supplier of both new and refurbished pinball games and spares, though their site also contains a wealth of technical information on modern games. Based in Southport, they ship parts worldwide and have gained a good reputation for service and support.

  Pinballers Anonymous run as a profit-free operation and have a large number of modern games for sale from their Buckinghamshire base. Although they use ebay as their primary shop window, all the games are also available to buy directly from the web site along with a game inspection service and a free game supply service for charity events.

  When you want to get out and play some games, Barcade is the place to turn to. Listing game locations across America, Barcade also features reviews of games, an events diary along with game and location ratings and a forum. Before you head out, take a look at Barcade.

  If you've got a pinball game, you've got to maintain it and fix any problems. Bell Springs publish the book "Pinball Machine Care and Maintenance" which show you how to keep your game in tip top condition. They also send out a free e-mail newsletter with tips, historical information and trivia.

  The home of the Simpson's Pinball Party and Fish Tales owners lists, Bucci's Arcade also has a good selection of sound samples from various games and details of an impressive gameroom line-up. Each game has several pages devoted to it and there are plenty of pictures available.

  If it takes a coin, it belongs on this website devoted to all things coin-operated. From arcade games to shopping trolleys by way of washing machines, no device is left uncovered. You can leave your own comments about the machines and search the archives for previous reports.

  Just about everything you could ever want to know about this classic Bally game, including downloads, history information, the owners' list and an interview with artist Greg Freres about his work on the game. There are also hints and tips for game restoration, maintenance and playing techniques for the game.

  A great French language site with lots of articles about restoration, electronics and other practical information. To get the most out of the site you need to register but that gives you access to the forum area where many of the other sections reside.

  This Belgian site (don't worry - there's an English version too) contains a good range of hints, tips and ideas from fixing circuit boards to making your own custom game parts. With clear pictures and waveforms, it's a great site for pinball game repairs and modifications.

  Another great Belgian site with an English language version. Flippers.be features a large number of detailed articles about all aspects of pinball from show reports, book and game reviews, through a full restoration guide, to the pinball basics like how to take out the backglass and remove the head.

  An excellent publication covering not only pinball but jukeboxes, slot machines, video games and vending machines. In short, everything for your game room. There's a wealth of pinball publications available to buy and lots of other information on the site.

  A great resource detailing just about every pinball game ever made. There is a comprehensive search engine and it includes links to external sites with rulesheets and other information about the games.

  This site covers everything you could want to know about setting up your own home gameroom. That is the choosing, buying and moving of the games themselves, the lighting, decoration and stories about how various people became involved with pinball.

  When it comes to maintaining and repairing games, Marvin's site contains a wealth of information. There are specific guides for common problem areas such as flippers which go into quite some depth and are best printed out.

  Available in Flash and non-Flash versions, this UK site is dedicated to the beautifully crafted and ornate coin operated amusements from the start of the last century up until 1970. There's a comprehensive library section, a discussion forum and you can even try your hand at some of the games in the arcade section.

.Brazil

  This excellent Portuguese language site covers pinball events and news for the Brazilian pinball fans. It includes an active forum and classified ads as well as articles and polls. You can download ROMS and service manuals or join the Brazilian Pinball Club.

.New Zealand

  Run by Michael Burke, Pinball Links not only provides details of many fine sites, but also catalogues numerous personal web pages with pinball games in them. There's also a comprehensive list of games in the Wellington area.

.UK

  The POA is the organisation for UK pinball fans, and this site contains details of their conventions, articles from their Pinball Payer magazine, joining details and a limited spares service.

.Sweden

  A great resource for real pinball fans. This site contains loads of sound samples and tunes, pictures and perhaps most importantly details of all the hidden features found in so many games. There is also a guide to pinball in Stockholm and the site is home to the owners lists for The Addams Family Gold and Earthshaker.

.UK

  This new site from the UK contains a selection of pinball articles, book listings with personal reviews, a diary of events, along with a discussion forum and a links section.
There's also a classified section with free advertisements for games, manuals and spares.

.Germany

  Pinballz.net calls itself an international community and it is the place for pinball fans from many countries to meet and talk pinball. Messages are mainly in German but English posts are also encouraged. With around 40 different discussion areas there's bound to be something to interest you.

.UK

  Newly revived, Pinformer maintains a list of pinball machines on site in the UK. You can search the database for either a particular game or location. If you see or play a pinball game, make sure you submit the details here.

.Netherlands

  The relaunched Pinside features a mix of general articles about pinball, details of specific games and a bunch of customisable features.  These include a personal game list, a watch list for machine sales in your area and the chance to add your own ratings to games.

.USA

  A good range of rulesheets for pinball games from Scott Piehler. Most dot-matrix games are covered as well as many other solid-state ones.

.Netherlands

  A link to a links page? Yes, but Start4All's pinball links are extensive and include individual games' owners' lists. Although Dutch orientated, the majority are English language sites.

.Italy

  A bi-lingual site, Tilt! is the home of pinball in Italy. The site contains masses of information about Italian games, game conversions and has ROMs for Zaccaria games. There are some behind-the-scenes pictures, classified ads and polls together with personal collection information.

.USA

  Twobit provide some solid information about repairing pinball games, but the information is mainly geared towards professional repairers. They don't teach electronics, but do have some good links if you need to find out more.

  Daveland's pinball site is the home of the World Pinball Directory - a listing of pinball sites and their machines located around the world. There is also a good links list and news of the latest new games.


PARTS SUPPLIERS

  With hundreds of game specific parts, plastics and motors, Bay Area Amusements is bound to have something for most modern games. They also stock a full range of ramps and displays along with various useful additions to enhance your machine.

  Based in Jacksonville, Florida, Centsible Amusements stock a wide range of parts for pinball and arcade games. Apart from all the commonly needed spares, they also sell game specific parts and entire plastic sets. In addition they sell video and pinball machines and have regular special offers on parts.

  Mainly a source of games, spares and collectibles, Herb Silvers' site manages to convey his enthusiasm for pinball, although he also sells video games and jukeboxes on this site.

  If you own anything other than a brand new game, then Mayfair probably have any parts you need. They stock backglasses, boards, schematics, flyers, in fact almost anything pinball-related.

  Not a regular parts seller, Pinball Magic sell an assortment of unusual and useful tools and game-specific add-ons. With a range of playfield cleaning and polishing products as well as new springs, nuts and wiring, there's no excuse not to make you game look its best.

  Steve Young is probably the best pinball parts supplier in the world. Service can be slow but his knowledge of game spares is second to none. There's no online ordering, but with over 6 million parts in stock you should be able to get what you need here.

  Clive Jones runs the Cauldron in South Carolina and repairs all types of circuit boards used in pinball games. All work is guaranteed and prices are on the website. There is an EPROM blowing service and also a number of technical articles.

  Specialising in the restoration and repair of pinball and video games, Dallas Arcade carries out repairs of all
electronic pinball boards. They have a full service pinball shop with spare parts/chips,and are always glad to help. The web site includes a file area with manuals and ROMs for downloading.

  The Pinball Doctor is a UK game repair service. Based in Sandwich in Kent, the Doctor performs in-home fixes and services to most games from the '80s to the present day along with a few older games. He also performs upgrades and customisation work.

  Andy Netherwood's Pinball Mania is not only a fast and reliable source of pinball parts, he also operates a mobile pinball repair service. Covering an area of 120 miles around Leatherhead, Surrey in southern England, he offers regular maintenence calls, repairs and a deep clean service.
