GETTING WOUND UP

Story dated December 10, 2004

More news from the Mr Pinball Australia factory as work continues on their first game slated to be released early in 2005.

The company has bought its own coil winding machine to reduce costs, maintain control and guarantee availability.

But they're not making all their own parts and lots of boxes have been arriving at the Murrumbeena facility near Victoria in preparation for production.

The boxes contain many of the mundane items which are - literally - the nuts and bolts of the game.

And the router we reported on last time has been at work producing test playfields.

These router is also being used to try out various insert types for the game.

And another piece of new equipment has turned up.

This drum sander can sand a playfield with two different grades in a single pass.
