STERN IN SPAIN

Story dated 31st October 2001.

Before Pinball Expo, Gary Stern took time out to attend the FER Interazar 2001 show, a Spanish amusement trade show held in Madrid on September 26th to 28th.

Gary was to be found at the Cocamatic stand where they were showing Stern's latest game Monopoly. There was one Monopoly game and four High Roller Casino games.

It is slightly odd that there were none of the newer Austin Powers games on show but perhaps HRC was preferred over AP as gambling games are usually well received in Spain.

The pictures show Gary Stern together with various members of the AACP, a Spanish pinball organisation which organises meetings with about 50 people attending.

One member who met Gary said: "It has been a wonderful surprise for Spanish pinball fans to meet with Gary Stern here in Spain. I have to say he's a very kind man and hope Stern pinball sales go as well as their efforts deserved."
