Story dated 14th March, 2003.

Some people get all the luck. Not content with trips around the world and to Hugh Heffner's Playboy Mansion, Gary Stern shows up at the 300th episode party for The Simpsons.

Keith Johnson, of course, designed the Simpsons Pinball Party game and Stern took a couple of games along to the party, which were played all night.

The party was to celebrate the historic 300th episode of the classic cartoon series and took place on February 12th 2003 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, California, USA. All the show's stars were there, as were the people who voice them; Harry Shearer, Nancy Cartwright, Hank Azaria, Julie Kavner, Yeardley Smith, and Dan Castellaneta. The 300th episode was shown to the assembled 875 guests accompanied by Krusty Burgers.

The Simpsons is now the longest-running situation comedy and the longest-running primetime animated series in television history.
