A little over a year ago,the Chicago Street Pinball Arcade opened in historic downtown Joliet, Illinois. The arcade is located about 40 miles southwest of Chicago, and a few blocks east of the Harrah's Casino.

The owner, Mark Czarnowski, is a pin collector who wanted to get his collection out for the public to enjoy.

The arcade features well kept pinball machines from the 1960s to the 2010s. He also has some vintage video games in the arcade and posts updates on his location on his Facebook page.

I am sorry I took so long to visit the arcade. There are many more pins to play there than I thought. The arcade seems like a Williams pinball machine museum; 26 of the 37 pins available to play were made by Williams.

I always thought Williams pins were the best ones ever made, so it is extremely nice to be able to play so many of my all time favorites in one place.

No alcohol is allowed at the arcade for now, but the Juliet's Sports Bar right next door has a great selection of beers on tap, plus an Italian dining menu.

An arcade full of mostly Williams pinball machines is about as good as it gets for me. I can't wait to visit there again soon.
