Saturday at The South Coast Slam will see the return of the Super Slam Showdown - the exciting and challenging tournament from Pinball News which awards trophies to the winners and WPPR world ranking points for all.

Play begins by 11am and entry costs £10 per player. Pre-registration for Super Slam Showdown places is now closed with 90 players confirmed for the tournament. Also back for 2012 is the Old Skool Rules classic tournament held on Sunday and sponsored by Pinball Heaven, which also awards WPPR points. No need to pre-register for this one.

New for the Slam is the Pinball Mania NBA Jam which was such a success at the Northern Lights Pinball event last November. The NLP team have linked-up their NBA Fastbreak machines again and are bringing their competition to the Slam.  SOLD OUT

We're also bringing back the mind-bending Psyche-Out Trophy competition with this year's new space trip theme. Get the high score and show how Psyched-Out you really are. In addition we will have the brand new AC/DC Back in Black high score pinball competition.

For fans of the joystick, there will also be be return of the Classic Video Game Tournament allowing you to blast your way to the top.

Finally, there will be high score competitions for our younger visitors across the weekend.
