CHANGES TO THE
UPDATE SCHEME

Due to the large number of Pinball News Update Scheme members, our old e-mail provider was unable to cope.

So we've recently moved to a new system which should be able to handle the thousands of e-mails we send out, as well as provide an easier way for us to send you Updates. It also should give you a simpler way to manage your subscription online.

Unfortunately, in order to make these changes, we needed to ask you to re-confirm that you wish to be signed up for the Update Scheme.

That simply involved us sending you an e-mail with a link you click on. It was designed to make sure the e-mail system is only being used for pinball fans who want to be kept up-to-date with the latest Pinball News and isn't being used by other people to send spam.

So, in November 2009 all members of the Update Scheme were sent an e-mail from us which explains all this and contains a link which looks like: 'http://scripts.dreamhost.com/add_list.cgi?g=' followed by a mix of letters and numbers.

If you received this e-mail and haven't done anything about it, please don't ignore it.

Clicking the link in the e-mail will take you to a confirmation page here on the Pinball News site and you will continue to be signed up for Pinball News Updates in the future.

If you don't click the link, you will be unsubscribed and won't get any more Pinball News Updates.  In fact, you've already missed some!

Nothing else is changing and - just as before - you can easily unsubscribe from the Update Scheme at any time.

We hope you will continue to receive our Pinball News Updates and get the very latest Pinball News delivered to your inbox, First and Free.

We're sorry we had to inconvenience you with this change, but hope you understand it's purely to make the Update Scheme more robust for the future.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns about the validity of the e-mail, please feel free to get in touch through the web form or by e-mail to [email protected]
