PINBALL NEWS DIARY

The INDISC Pinball Festival is a four day pinball arcade party with more fun than you can imagine. Not only do we have 500+ pinball machines and a small selection of classic video games on free play, we are hosting one of the largest Stern Pinball Pro Circuit events of the year, It Never Drains in Southern California™ and The Open IFPA World Championship™—which also happens to be one of the largest open pinball tournaments in the world and has been designated as the 5th major championship.

In addition to hosting The Open, INDISC 2020 will include multiple Classics events along with the High Stakes, Women’s and Youth divisions from previous years. New for 2020, INDISC will now include a Seniors division and will be expanding to a fourth day. More details coming soon.

Come battle the best players from all over the world or simply enjoy the vast collection of machines the Museum of Pinball has to offer. Either way, we’ll see you in Janaury!

Wednesday 4th to Sunday 8th March, 2020 (optional warm-up tournament on the Wednesday).

The amusement, FEC and allied out-of-home entertainment segments will take a 1,727 mile detour next spring, when the AAMA-AMOA Amusement Expo International (AEI) takes a one-year break from Las Vegas and heads south to New Orleans for its annual gathering of equipment, ideas and industry executives.

“Jazz Up Your Business in the Big Easy!” will serve as the theme for next year’s March 9-11, 2020 AEI, with Expo Education Day to kick things off on Monday, March 9, followed by the two-day of exhibits on Tuesday, March 10 and Wednesday, March 11. In addition to changing the location for next year, the schedule for AEI will also shift by a day, to a Monday-Wednesday pattern (from the previous Tuesday-Thursday time frame).

We would like to inform you about a year in advance that the GPO 2020 will take place in our beautiful city of GIFHORN, on the southern edge of the Lüneburg Heath.
So mark the following period very thick in the calendar.

The date is already fixed: Friday, May 15, 2020 – Sunday, May 17, 2020.

This is the third year of the central California show from the Northern California Pinball Association, being held in Lodi near Sacramento.

Along with all the games, the Pinball University (Pin-U) will hold talks designed to improve your pinball skills, from repairing to playing to learning how games are designed and the state of the pinball market today.

There is also a Pin-Golf tournament designed for all skill levels to enjoy.

The GPA proudly presents…

With great pleasure I would like to announce to you that there is a very high probability that this pinball event will take place again in 2020.
The weekend would be June 6th and 7th, 2020 at Pinball Universe in Bünde featuring artist Doug Watson. So, pinballs, listening to the guest, eating together, etc. etc. Technology talk is also not possible and there will be no tournament.

The entrance fee will be € 40.00 for GPA members and € 65.00 for non-GPA members.
This includes the buffet meal on Saturday similar to 2018.
We cover the full travel expenses from Doug Watson – Economy Plus from SFO to Germany with Lufthansa – several days hotel, Essen travel expenses, as well as the real expenses of PU for cleaning etc. We do not have to pay rent to PU!

As soon as Doug has booked the flight I will announce registration details

Even if you have never thought about Doug before Panthera, Barracora but also BK2000, T2 and Indiana Jones.
It pays to take items with you to sign and, unlike Elvira, autographs for the show visitors cost NOTHING.

PS: The number of visitors will be limited to 120!
