This is the third year of the central California show from the Northern California Pinball Association, being held in Lodi near Sacramento.

Along with all the games, the Pinball University (Pin-U) will hold talks designed to improve your pinball skills, from repairing to playing to learning how games are designed and the state of the pinball market today.

There is also a Pin-Golf tournament designed for all skill levels to enjoy.

This is the highest pinball tournament as we know in Europe (maybe in the world), taking place in the Osteria Belverde at 2,000m altitude at the middle station of the chair lift.

Depending on the weather the pinballs will be placed either on the inside or the outside of the Osteria Belverde.

The gaming area inside is very large and gives enough space to have enough distance between the players. On the outside the terrace is also very large and has enough seating to enjoy and wait between the games.

Everybody who enjoys pinball and nature is warmly welcomed to join us in a beautiful scenery in the middle of the alps.

UPDATE:
The physical show has been cancelled in favour of a virtual California Extreme on Saturday 25th July, 2020.

We are saddened to announce that due to guidance by the State of California and County of Santa Clara health officials, California Extreme 2020 will not be able to be held in its usual form this year at the Hyatt Regency.

We will instead put on a virtual show on July 25th including speakers, demonstrations, streaming, remote play, vendor specials, and whatever we (including you) can come up with. This is new territory for us, so if you have something you’d like to contribute, please let us know at info@caextreme.org. We plan to offer t-shirts and badges to commemorate our 24th annual event, and we can still have a great weekend while praticing distant socializing.

This annual event has long been supported by pinball enthusiasts from all over Northern California and helps local youth charities. Many people bring their pinball machines to share, the organizers and volunteers are not paid to put on the show, we spread pinball joy and everyone benefits!

No advance ticket sales – just pay on the door.

Often a launchpad for various companies’ new releases, expect a presence from Stern Pinball on the Electrocoin stand, Jersey Jack and Chicago Gaming on the Pinball Heaven stand, and some surprise pinball-related products.
