{"id":24277,"date":"2022-05-01T20:58:46","date_gmt":"2022-05-01T19:58:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pinballnews.com\/site\/events\/european-pinball-championship-2019\/"},"modified":"2022-05-01T20:58:46","modified_gmt":"2022-05-01T19:58:46","slug":"european-pinball-championship-2019","status":"publish","type":"ajde_events","link":"https:\/\/www.pinballnews.com\/site\/events\/european-pinball-championship-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"European Pinball Championship 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='ai1ec-event-avatar alignleft timely'><img src='https:\/\/www.pinballnews.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/diary\/generic-tournament-300x185.jpg' width='300' height='185' \/><\/div>\n<p>The tournament weekend, in short, is comprised of two tournaments, the European Pinball Championship, and running alongside, the ever popular<br \/>\nDanish Pinball Open, back for its 14th iteration.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore there will also be the traditional National Team Tournament, where each country can enter a selection of their finest players, to compete for national glory and honour.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, as we had at last years DPO, there will be a second chance consolation tournament on Sunday, for everyone that has had the misfortune of being knocked out of both the <span class='il'>EPC<\/span> and DPO.<\/p>\n<p>The price for participation is 55\u20ac + 5\u20ac handling fee, totalling 60\u20ac in all.<\/p>\n<p>The formats:<\/p>\n<p><span class='il'>EPC<\/span>: Qualification on 10 player selected machines from a large bank, leading into head to head final rounds, ending in a 4 man grand final on<br \/>\nSunday.<\/p>\n<p>DPO: Qualification on 8 player selected machines from a large bank, leading into 4 man group final rounds, ending in a 4 man grand final on<br \/>\nSunday.<\/p>\n<p>National championship: Format still not finalized.<\/p>\n<p>Second chance: Format still not finalized.<\/p>\n<p>The schedule:<\/p>\n<p>* Friday: 5 <span class='il'>EPC<\/span> qualification slots, DPO qualification open through the day, national team tournament.<br \/>\n* Saturday: 3 <span class='il'>EPC<\/span> qualification slots, DPO qualifications open through the day.<br \/>\n* Sunday: <span class='il'>EPC<\/span> finals, DPO finals, Second Chance consolation tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Every country is allotted 5 pre-registrations.<\/p>\n<p>The 5 pre-registered players will also represent their respective countries in the national team tournament, so choose your players wisely.
