EUROPEAN VACATION |
|
Story dated October 21, 2004 A year after it first went on sale in the US, Chicago Gaming Company's Vacation America home pinball game has now reached Europe.
French supermarket Carrefour has put the game into its larger superstores and into its brochures just in time for the Christmas period.
The €2490 price equates to £1745 or $3245 which due to exchange rates makes it around half the price of a new Stern game in the UK and slightly less than the total price of a Stern in the US. The games are imported by a company called Rene Pierre who also sell table football games (foosball) which are called baby-foot in France. The catalogue also includes the CD jukebox in the background of the pinball above for €100 less if you want to complete your gameroom.
