Report by John

In September 2013, my wife and I had our first trip to east coast of the USA (New York City and Orlando), and Canada (Vancouver).

We arrived at the arcade in the early evening and it seemed we were the first guests.

Upon the friendly invitation from the cool bartender, I had no choice except to order my first alcoholic drink.

The arcade had total of eight pinballs as follows:

  • Metallica - Master of Puppets LE (Stern, 2013 )
  • Funhouse (Williams, 1990)
  • Theatre of Magic (Bally, 1995)
  • Twilight Zone (Bally, 1993)
  • The Sopranos (Stern, 2005)
  • Revenge from Mars (Bally, 1999)
  • Star Wars Episode One (Williams, 1999)

There were two things which grabbed my attention. The first was the Metalica Master of Puppets LE which I had never seen before.  Of course, I spend almost an hour playing this pinball.

The second thing was the innovative fixture to the left eye of Ruby. Probably his left eye had been broken and it was not immediately repairable.

The cost of a 3-ball game on any of the machines was $0.75, or $2.00 for 3 games.

Apart from the pinballs, the arcade also had quite a selection of retro video games.

I stayed at the arcade for two hours before taking a subway train back to hotel.
