Date: 13th August, 2022 The Hamptons International Film Festival in East Hampton, New York is scheduled to premiere the movie based on How Roger C. Sharpe’s testimony “saved” the game of pinball in New York City. Pinball: The Man Who Saved The Game Actor Mike Faist plays the part of young Roger in the feature-length ‘dramedy’ which is written and directed by Austin and Meredith Bragg. Roger C. Sharpe himself is both the Executive Producer and the Technical Consultant for the movie. Pinball: The Man Who Saved The Game The Bragg brothers said, “The history of pinball is fascinating and uniquely American. Roger’s impact on the game is well-known to pinball fans but worthy of wider attention. We’re excited to work with Roger to share his remarkable journey.” There was a brief teaser of the movie posted on YouTube but it has subsequently been taken down. However, there is now a website about it, including details of the cast and crew. You can see that at pinballfilm.com. The 30th-anniversary film festival takes place October 7th-16th, 2022. General admission tickets will be on sale beginning September 27th. For more information visit the festival website at: hamptonsfilmfest.org
