THURSDAY – The Stern Pinball factory tour, the opening of the vendor hall and the first ten seminars.

FRIDAY – Lots more seminars right from the early morning.

One has to ask, is Pinball Expo, or what used to be Mike and Rob’s ‘show’ really relevant at all today? Who hasn’t seen Stern’s microwave oven banks for contract workers, who hasn’t been shown how the ‘four poster press’ works, who hasn’t seen crazy gary’s white hair, who hasn’t seen Mike Pacak run around on his battery powered scooter with little snawsage dogs in tow or in basket, who hasn’t seen Rob not care much about anything and his ‘collection’. Who hasn’t, not many left really that haven’t.

I think your comments are a little behind the times. What constitutes a show has changed, and Expo has changed too.

Yes I would agree with Martin- the new look Pinball Expo in Chicago is certainly one to attend if at all possible. I feel that each year that I have attended it has certainly been worth my time and I feel also that I come away with a great deal of invaluable information and experiences.

Been going since the late 90’s (Rosemont). Started going again when it moved to Wheeling. I live within minutes. Have even purchased machines during the show. Parts, etc.

Have not gone past 2 years. Cost prohibitive.
