Following our report on their teaser video, Pedretti Pinball today released details of the first title in their planned series of Williams/Bally remakes, Funhouse Remake.

The game will be available in two versions, Classic Edition and Midnight Limited Edition, with the Midnight Limited Edition restricted to a run of 750 units.

The Classic Edition uses the original artwork for the cabinet, backbox, translite and playfield, while the Limited Edition has Brian Allen’s reimagined artwork throughout, including on the playfield, the plastics , the speaker panel and the new inner cabinet artwork.

Both models include the mystery mirror 4-inch LCD panel introduced with Pedretti’s Rudy’s Nightmare 2.0 kit, while the manual ball plunger on the main shooter lane has been augmented with an autoplunger for use with the enhanced rulesets. Both versions use a 21.5-inch LCD display panel in place of the game’s original 2×16 digit alphanumeric displays.

Both editions come with the original game code plus an enhanced ‘1.5’ version. The Limited Edition also includes new 2.0 code which is available as an upgrade for the Classic Edition.

The Limited Edition also comes with a shaker motor, anti-reflective glass, RGB LED lighting effects in the bottom apron, the inner cabinet art as well as in the backbox and around Rudy’s eyes. It also features a midnight blue powdercoat to the metalwork.

The games also include a 3.5mm (1/8th inch) headphone jack, RGB general illumination and RGB lighting in the pop bumpers and the standup targets. The Limited Edition also gains an enhanced sound system, a numbered metal plaque and a certificate of authenticity ‘signed’ by Rudy himself. It also comes with an extended warranty of 24 months on the electronics and 12 months on the mechanical components, where the Classic Edition only has 12 month of electronics and 6 months of mechanical warranty.

The prices for the two have been set at $7,499 for the Classic Edition and $9,999 for the Limited Edition. The game will be manufactured in Italy at the Euro Pinball Corp. facility established in conjunction with Pinball Brothers to initially build Alien and Queen games, along with their new ABBA title.

A special Remake topper will be available to purchase at a later date for the Limited Edition, while the previously-announced topper for the Rudy’s Nightmare 2.0 kit is available now for the Classic Edition.

Rudy is Back!! Funhouse Remake Pinball Machine Unveiled!
 
Bagnatica, Italy, 5/14/2024 – Pedretti Gaming (Pedretti), in partnership with Planetary Pinball Supply Inc. (PPS), announces their first pinball machine, Funhouse Remake. Inspired by the original 1990 classic, Funhouse Remake combines the gameplay of the original machine with updated technology and reimagined artwork, creating an unforgettable pinball experience for players. Funhouse Remake pinball machines are available in two models: Classic Edition (CE) and Midnight Limited Edition (LE). 

Both models include a 21.5″ XL LCD Display, playfield 4″ LCD mini display, fully integrated RGB lightshows, and RGB target lights. 

Both models also include the original game code (1.0) and enhanced original game code (1.5). The enhanced original game code adds additional DMD display effects with new animation, extended settings and adjustments, a ball saver, and an auto-launcher. 

The Classic Edition model features the original game artwork from the 1990 game. 

Limited to 750 games globally, the Midnight Limited Edition model features a completely reimagined hand drawn art package by pinball artist, Brian Allen/Flyland Designs. This stunning package includes new playfield, cabinet decals, speaker panel, plastics, interior art blades, and translite art. 

The Midnight Limited Edition model also includes 2.0 game code. The 2.0 code adds new graphics, new music and callouts, and new rules, multiballs & modes to extend the overall gameplay experience.
The Midnight Limited Edition model also includes an enhanced sound system, “Special Midnight Blue” metal armor trim, apron RGB lightshow, fully integrated art blade lightshows, special magic glass, shaker motor, Funhouse Funfair title lights, RGB lighting in Rudy’s eyes, a sequentially numbered plaque, a Funhouse engraved watch, and a Certificate of Authenticity stamped by Rudy.  

A fully integrated limited edition topper will also be made available for purchase at a later date. This topper will be available exclusively to Midnight Limited Edition buyers.

Additional upgrades and add-ons for the Classic Edition will be available for purchase, including 2.0 game code, shaker motor, and a topper.
